Support Us

Sponsorships from local businesses help cover the majority of the costs of running the Wonders of Winter, but annual operating costs continue to increase. New displays cost money, older ones need constant maintenance and there are always a variety of odds and ends that need to be serviced and purchased.

About Wonders of Winter

In 1994, Bill Weiler, a creative citizen of Waterloo asked for a loan from the City of Waterloo to install the first underground electrical service in Waterloo Park to power the first 5000 lights in imaginative displays. The loan has since been repaid and now a number of local service
